Harmony in Steel was named in 1992. The band consists of a pool of selected professional musicians who play in a variation of ensembles from the traditional trio of tenor pan, second pan & bass pan.
The current core members are Wilbert “Junior” Gill, Patrik Bernhard & Paul Francis. The band can expand to a four piece with the addition of congas. For a really big sound for parties and larger events the band can extend to 5 – 7 piece with more pans players and percussionist. The band has a repertoire of thousands of tunes from stage & screen, evergreens and well known favorites from the 1940s right up to the present day as well as an abundance of essential calypsos and latin tunes.
Other than the high level of their musicianship, musicality & professionalism the greatest strength the band has is it's wealth of experience. This enables them to read and respond to any situation resulting in the selection the right tunes and tempo to suite the mood and ambiance of the moment, or indeed to uplift it or change it as and where necessary.
